I know that the situation with the registration and tattoos is getting tense (and that not all of you are registered yet), but please keep in mind that, eventually, there will be someone visiting the school to check everyone's registration. I strongly urge everyone who has yet to register to go out and do so. You're free to wait for the inspection if you want, but I don't know exactly what they plan to do with anyone they find unregistered; they could just incarcerate you until you register, or you could find yourself with fines or actual jail time. I'm not certain, and I wouldn't wait to find out, personally.

Being registered is hardly the end of the world, and right now, it's necessary. It doesn't change your day to day life, the tattoo is easily hidden if your mutation isn't blatantly obvious, and there are more mutant friendly places in public than you would think.

For future situations, if anyone wants to talk to me, talk directly to me. Complaining to other people doesn't do much in the way of actually ... talking to me. Yes, Alex, I'm looking at you.

I have a difficult time believing Betsy's honestly dead. Betsy, who had drawn up plans in the event that any one of us turned rogue -- including herself. She had to have planned for something like that to happen. She can protect herself.

Betsy can't be dead yet. While I can appreciate the irony of her dying because of humans, I can't believe she could die so easily. That's not like her.

I'm starting to consider buying something for insomnia. I feel like I haven't slept in weeks.

The next person who asks me to sing something from that new Disney movie just because I happen to look like some fruity guy in a weird outfit is ... grounded or something. I'm all for holiday cheer, but that doesn't mean I sing. I don't sing. I wish people happy holidays, I put up the tree, but I don't sing.

--> Previously engaged to Jean Grey before her death (which he partially blames Logan for, when he's not blaming himself).
--> Doesn't really hate Logan (well, no, really does hate him, a little), and respects him -- though that doesn't stop him from exercising his leadership powers to kick Logan off missions if he feels like it's the right thing.
--> Takes pride in his work, and it relatively good at setting aside personal feelings to do it right (though Logan can sometimes prove the exception, but Scott usually relents eventually and admits that Logan's pretty good to have on his side).
--> Keeps his motorcycle keys on his person at all times, just in case someone else pulls a Logan and tries to steal them.
--> Has a hard time being social with people he doesn't know -- and even with people he does, since he tends to be a bit too serious.
--> Communicating with Aubrey frustrates him, because he doesn't know ASL and doesn't really have the time to learn.

--> Scott really does have a sense of humor. Seriously. People are just so predisposed to say "Oh, it's Scott, he's a dick" that they never really get all the way to his humor.
--> He's okay with people not liking him, as long as he maintains the leader image. If they respect him, he really couldn't care less what they have to say.
--> Has one hell of a voice, if you ever get him to sing. Or sneak up on him in the shower.
--> Is actually rather romantic, once he's completely comfortable with someone. He even dances.
--> Misses Jean Grey so much it's kind of pathetic, and constantly wonders if she would approve of anything he's doing at the moment.
--> Is really rather a nice, respectful guy, and sometimes comes off as a little goofy or hopeless when he actually departs from the straight-laced persona.
--> That straight-laced, duty-bound persona? It may be sitting in front of a more personable Scott, but it's ... actually pretty accurate. He really is that much of a pain in the butt when it comes to rules.
--> If asked, Scott will tell the truth about anything, really. He's not hiding anything, per se. You just have to go looking for it.

X-Men/Staff
--> Is a good, efficient leader, even he can be kind of grating sometimes. It's not that he has an attitude, he's just, well ... a stick in the mud.
--> Is a damn good dancer/singer -- if you get him drunk enough.
--> What happens at staff parties stays at staff parties, unless you'd like part of your face melted off. He'll do it, too.


Currently Unknown
--> Has a bit of a fixation with redheads, to the point where, yes, Scott's had some pretty dirty dreams about Arla and Mary Jane. Which Emma may or may not know, but it's doubtful she'd want to know that.
--> Isn't in love with Emma Frost, even though he wishes he were. He cares about her, but he can't bring himself to get over Jean enough to really love Emma.
--> Misses feeling "normal" and using Pandora's Lock, even if it meant conforming to the anti-mutant government, and longs to be able to see in colors other than red again.
--> Was blind for a few years as a child, after his powers manifested and before he came to Xavier's, and while he was blind, learned to read Braille -- some of which he still remembers today.
